Naturally synthesized by the body, hyaluronic acid is a major component of the skin which guarantees its plump and smooth appearance thanks to its ability to attract and retain nearly a thousand times its weight in water. 50% of hyaluronic acid present in the body is found in skin level, the hydration of the latter therefore being closely linked to the quantity of water captured by the hyaluronic acid molecules!
From the age of 25, and following UV exposure, its content decreases and the skin becomes dehydrated, reducing its elasticity and causing an increase in fine lines and wrinkles.
1 - DIFFERENT SIZES OF HYALURONIC ACIDS
There are some different sizes, and depending on their location in the different layers of the skin, their actions differ.
